Volunteers form an important part of Milton Keynes University Hospital. Our highly committed army of volunteers can be found in all areas of the hospital working alongside staff. By becoming a volunteer at Milton Keynes University Hospital, you can make a real difference to our patients and their relatives.
We are looking for volunteers for many of our departments and wards. Volunteering allows you to give something back to your local community, for as little as three hours a week. Volunteering enables you to meet new people and make new friends, but most of all, you could learn new skills. You will never be asked to do something you don’t want to do. All voluntary positions have a thorough role description, and we’ll work with you to make sure you’re comfortable in your role. If you are aged 18 or over all we need from you is regular attendance over six months and a willingness to complete mandatory training.
Interested? Call our recruitment line on 01908 996 059, leaving your name and contact number or email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org or apply via the hospital webpage www.mkhospital.nhs.uk.
We are also lucky enough to have an amazing charity, MKH Charity, who are always looking for fantastic individuals, schools, companies and groups to help make a huge difference to our patients.
