Milton Keynes Grand Union Rotary Club announce a brand new award

The Rotary Centenary Bursary is a brand new award launched in 2017.  This generous annual award of £800 from the Rotary Club will be granted to promising students from the Milton Keynes area, who are preparing for a career in healthcare services.  The Rotary award is intended to help students who are experiencing some sort of hardship whilst studying.

The entry criteria for this bursary is as follows:

  • Students are resident within the Milton Keynes postcode area
  • The bursary can be used to cover part of the course fees, equipment or books - the student will need to give their reasons for requiring assistance in the respect
  • Pleas provide a brief overview of your financial hardship or other reason(s) for requiring assistance, such as having a disability or specific learning requirement
  • The bursary is usually paid directly to the student on the understanding that they give a report (preferably in person) at the end of the course to the Rotary Club on how the bursary has assisted their progress to achieving their qualification. 

Closing Date for applications is Friday 30 June 2017  
 Successful Candidates will be selected by end of August 2017 and will receive their grant in September 2017.
